Cayucos CA

Cayucos CA has a population of nearly 3,000 people according to the 2000 census.  This is a very small town, right on the beach.  If you are looking for a small-town atmosphere that moves at a small-town pace, this is it! 

Cayucos real estate is surrounded by undeveloped ranchlands with cattle grazing on the peaceful hills.  There is virtually no city noise, no traffic and hardly any crime.  The climate is really moderate.

A couple of times a year (usually in May and in July) there is a peddler's fair.  It's just like a big swap meet.  You see everything there!

Cayucus has over 150 motel rooms, many weekend and vacation rentals, and a cozy relaxing atmosphere that makes any stay a real pleasure.

Cayucos CA has plenty of regular events for tourists or locals.  It hosts car shows, and gem shows, and on the fourth of July you can see the most spetacular fireworks show that takes place on the Cayucos Pier.  Many come to see this or to just watch the fantastic sand-castle contests that take place earlier in the day.

Just to be able to come out and walk down to the Cayucos Pier to fish or stroll by on the sand or watch the sunsets - it's worth the visit.  If you like it, perhaps you may want to live here.
